Electric Fuel Pump Conversion
I have converted my 96 Powerstroke over to an electric fuel pump system.
This allowed me to remove and discard the factory fuel filter and pump that cluttered up the valley of the engine.
I used an electric fuel pump intended for a 99 up Superduty Powerstroke.
I added 2 filters, one 15 micron before the pump and one 5 micron after the pump.
I mounted the Areomotive regulator in the valley on a home made bracket.
The tanks were not sumped at this time. I utilized the existing factory feed lines from aft of the tank selector switch to the valley, from there the lines were converted to JIC 37 deg flare. I used braided SS lines and some custom made fittings.
I will do an expanded article with more pictures in the future.
